Biblical Cosmology

In early 2009, Dean published a revised version of his book on biblical cosmology, In Search of the Beginning: A Seeker's Journey to the Origin of the Universe, Life, and Man.  This seminar gives a brief but tantalizing overview of that work.

Putting first things first, Dean begins by laying a crucial epistemological foundation, showing that we must have divine revelation in order to answer the great questions of cosmology, and explaining why we can trust the revelation that is found in the Bible.

Next, he discusses several popular theories of "the beginning," comparing and contrasting the naturalistic, Hindu/Buddhist, New Age, and biblical models, showing why the biblical model is by far the most reasonable to believe.

Along the way, Dean also pays special attention to such fascinating and important questions as the age, (geocentric) structure, purpose, and final destiny of the universe.

If you're the kind who likes to see the Big Picture clearly, this is the seminar for you!
